Membership Type

How many?

As you are aware a yearly membership is set for those wishing to become a member of the United Players which is payable on joining/renewing. It is important that we have accurate membership lists for many purposes, not least to keep you informed as to what is happening in the group.

Why do I have to pay for membership?

Insurance purposes, should a person be injured through their own neglect or through someone else's negligence, damages are paid for by the insurers.

Other Costs we have to pay for the use of the buildings and other minor expenses during rehearsals.

What does membership entitle me to?

Being a paid member you will be INSURED, you will be able to have a say in the running of the group by VOTING at meetings and be able to stand for office. You will be able to AUDITION for parts in productions or help backstage.

How much will this cost me?

Adults (over 18) in employment will be                                                             £20

Children in full-time education (including over 18's)                                            £10

Concessions (unemployed or retired or non-performer)                                       £10

Family membership (2 adults and 2 - 4 children)                                                £40

How do I become a fully paid member?

How many weeks?

Weekly subs of £1 are requested from all participants in the Panto.

These cover a range of costs, including Teas, Coffees and Biscuits throughout the rehearsal period.
